"ReDraw" Visual Identity

ReDraw is a client’s concept for a community-driven art supplies thrift store. It’s designed to make purchasing art supplies more affordable and eco-friendly by encouraging people to buy and sell back gently used art supplies; much like clothing at a thrift store. Reduce, Reuse, ReDraw!

Digital illustrations, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign

Logo Design

Since ReDraw is targeted towards a younger audience, students, children and parents, and new artists, the logo uses bright colours and a playful mascot to bring the brand to life. The mascot, a pigeon, was chosen as a nod to downtown Toronto, the home base of ReDraw, where these birds are a familiar sight, and for their clever, resourceful nature, which perfectly reflects ReDraw’s commitment to reducing, reusing, and recycling.

Typography

Selecting fonts that matched the project’s tone, purpose, and audience was essential. The Tomarik font family complements the ReDraw brand with its organic, artistic character, while remaining clean and easy to read in both headlines and body text.

Tomarik Brush is used for the headings and Tomarik Introvert is used for the body text.

Mockups

ReDraw is imagined as an online presence with an in-person store located in downtown Toronto near the OCAD University campus, making it accessible for students on a budget. Mockups include a social media page, a website, business cards, custom reusable tote bags, and branded recyclable packaging; all with the creative and playful imagery of ReDraw's branding.
